Ukrainian National Guard delivers aid to besieged Oleshky via drones

The Ukrainian National Guard has used drones to deliver over 600 kilograms of essential supplies to families with children in the occupied city of Oleshky. The aid packages included milk, cereal, toys, and educational games.

Oleshky, located on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region, has been under Russian control since February 2022. The humanitarian situation in the city is described as catastrophic, with approximately 1,700 residents remaining. The population faces severe shortages of electricity, heat, and running water, while roads and river access points are heavily mined.

Local reports indicate that residents have been forced to eat cooked plants due to extreme hunger. The area has become increasingly inaccessible due to the high risk of drone strikes and landmines, which have previously claimed the lives of aid workers attempting to enter the city.
