Ulsan KTX services to expand and fares to decrease in September

Starting September 1, KTX train services between Ulsan and Seoul will expand, accompanied by a fare reduction of up to 10%. According to Ulsan City, the restructuring follows a comprehensive revision of the national train timetable by the Korea Railroad Corporation.

For passengers traveling from Ulsan Station to Seoul, the number of daily KTX services will increase by five to six trips. Standard class fares will decrease from 53,500 won to 48,000 won, while first-class fares will drop from 74,900 won to 69,600 won.

Additionally, the KTX-Eum service operating between Taehwagang Station and Cheongnyangni will see increased frequency. Weekday services will rise from 16 to 18 trips, and weekend services will increase from 18 to 20 trips. Ulsan City plans to continue coordinating with relevant agencies to further expand the railway network in connection with the 2028 Ulsan International Garden Expo.
