Italy employment initiatives launch across multiple regions

Various employment initiatives and recruitment events are being organized across several Italian regions. In Umbria, the ‘Umbria Lavoro Fest’ is scheduled for October 1–2 in Terni at the new Arpal headquarters. The event, which includes the inauguration of a new Employment Center funded by the PNRR, offers 149 job opportunities from 50 companies and has already seen 333 applications. The festival will feature workshops on CV writing, discussions on ecological transition, and strategic tables for regional development.

Additionally, the regional in-house company PuntoZero S. c. a. r. l. has launched recruitment for 200 permanent part-time positions to support healthcare and administrative services in the provinces of Perugia and Terni. In Puglia, the ‘Orientation Desk’ in Andria has begun assisting citizens with job placement and training, while Sant’Agata di Puglia is hosting a ‘Job Day’ on September 29 to promote local entrepreneurship and professional training. In Pavia, the ‘Job Connection’ event will take place on September 24 to facilitate direct contact between job seekers and training agencies.

In Terni, Confindustria Umbria has also confirmed Marco Centinari as president for the 2026–2028 term, focusing on industrial growth, energy, and infrastructure.
