UMSNH community to receive free data chips in Michoacán

From September 7 to September 20, students and faculty of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) can register for and activate chips under the ‘D4TA Datos Gratis’ program. The initiative, promoted by the Government of Michoacán and managed by Iemsysem, provides 4 GB of free monthly internet, unlimited social media access, calls, and messages.

Registration and renewals will take place at the Centro de Convenciones y Exposiciones de Morelia (Ceconexpo). Students must present a copy of their CURP, a valid official ID, and a current school ID or proof of enrollment. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who also provides identification and CURP documentation. Faculty members are required to present their official ID, CURP, and current teaching credentials to validate the benefit.

Ceconexpo will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 14:00.
