UN condemns child rights violations in six conflict zones

The United Nations has denounced violations against children in armed conflicts, stating they are not "collateral damage." The agency highlighted that the highest levels of such violations in 2025 occurred in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Myanmar and Somalia.

The UN called for immediate measures to protect children, urging all parties to respect international humanitarian law and to ensure access to essential services for affected youngsters.
