UN Report Says Israeli Forces Intentionally Target Palestinian Children

The U.N. Independent International Commission of Inquiry released a report documenting a systematic pattern in which Israeli snipers and quadcopter drones deliberately aimed at Palestinian children in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. The report cites dozens of cases of children shot in the head, including infants, and estimates that tens of thousands of children have been killed or injured since the conflict intensified in October 2023.

Children’s educator and YouTube influencer Rachel Accurso, known as “Ms. Rachel,” hosted an emotional online press briefing alongside commission member Chris Sidoti and medical witness Dr. Mahmooda “Mimi” Syed. During the briefing she apologized to a young girl from the West Bank, highlighted testimonies of disrupted schooling and daily danger, and urged governments to move beyond statements, to ban arms sales to Israel, and to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The commission’s findings were based on eyewitness testimony, medical records, forensic imaging and satellite data, concluding that the Israeli Defence Forces are intentionally targeting children, violating international law and causing long‑term physical and psychological harm.
