UNAM promotes Latin American literature and science through international initiatives

The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) is expanding the reach of its editorial and scientific projects through international cooperation and academic forums. In Paris, UNAM-Francia delivered 23 volumes from the ‘Vindictas’ collection to the Elena Garro Library at the Mexican Embassy. This collection aims to recover and recirculate the works of Latin American and Hispanic American women writers who have been marginalized from the literary canon, covering genres such as poetry, short stories, feminist thought, and science.

In Mexico, UAM Radio participated in the VIII International Book Fair of University Students (Filuni) to discuss science, reading, and inclusion. The broadcast featured specialists discussing biodiversity conservation for children and the importance of interdisciplinary approaches—combining science with journalism, film, and illustration—to communicate environmental issues effectively.
