UNAM spent 14.6 million pesos on admission control exams

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) spent 14.6 million pesos on an in-person control exam conducted in August following anomalies in the online admission process.

Transparency data reveals that the rental of the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City accounted for 9.55 million pesos, representing approximately 65.3 percent of the total extraordinary budget. The Mexico City operations, which included venue rental, personnel, food, travel, and payroll, totaled 13.78 million pesos, or 94.2 percent of the reported expenditure.

Remaining funds were distributed across three other locations: the Hotel Real de Minas Poliforum in León, Guanajuato; the Hotel San Felipe in Oaxaca; and the Institute of Legal Research in Tijuana.
