UnB Planaltina hosts 8th Terra em Cena e na Tela cultural showcase

The 8th edition of the 'Mostra Terra em Cena e na Tela' is being held at the University of Brasília (UnB) Planaltina campus on August 20 and 21. The event features students, collectives, and quilombola and rural communities from the Federal District and Goiás.

The program includes theatrical performances, audiovisual showcases, workshops, book launches, and discussion circles. Featured performers include the Coletiva Quebra Mundo and Cena de Mutirão from Planaltina, as well as groups from the Kalunga Quilombo, such as Encena Kalunga and Grupo Jiquitaias.

A key highlight of this edition is a discussion regarding the construction of the National Program for Art and Culture of the Countryside, Waters, and Forests, which is being developed collectively by federal agencies and social movements.
