Ungheni, Romania advances road modernization project

The municipality of Ungheni continues its road‑modernisation campaign, extending works from the city centre to surrounding villages. Recent upgrades include the resurfacing of streets Romaniței, Plaiului, Grui, Strâmtă and Panseluțelor in the village of Morești, with work now underway on Crinului street. Mayor Victor Prodan said the pace of progress is “good from day to day” thanks to the personnel and equipment deployed by the contracting company. Traffic on Crinului street will be temporarily restricted from 06:00 July 15 to 06:00 July 16, and drivers are urged to follow on‑site signage and official notices to ensure safety and quality of the works.
