Unión Cívica Radical intensifies presence in Buenos Aires

The Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) has intensified its territorial presence in the City of Buenos Aires, conducting a tour through the Parque Patricios and La Boca neighborhoods. Led by national party president Leonel Chiarella and general secretary Piera Fernández, the initiative aims to establish a political space that distinguishes itself from both the current national government and Kirchnerism.

During the tour, Chiarella emphasized the party’s goal to act as an ‘alternative to the rift’ (grieta), calling for a move away from constant insults toward more humane political discourse. The strategy focuses on dialogue, concrete management, and practical solutions for residents. Chiarella, who also serves as the mayor of Venado Tuerto, suggested that this pragmatic approach of addressing problems regardless of previous political mandates could serve as a model for the country’s future.
