Unique architectural properties featured in real estate news

Two distinct architectural properties are making headlines. In Prague, entrepreneur and influencer Tereza Salte has completed a multi-year renovation of a 1990s villa. Originally designed in an ostentatious 'entrepreneurial baroque' style featuring gold accents, the home has been transformed into a functional family residence inspired by Scandinavian design. The renovation, led by architectural studio OOOOX, emphasizes natural materials, light, and simplicity, reflecting the Nordic heritage of Salte and her husband.

In the San Jacinto mountains near Idyllwild, California, a unique prefabricated house known as the Donaldson Futuro is on the market. Designed by Matti Suuronen in the late 1960s, the UFO-shaped structure was intended to be a portable, lightweight dwelling that could be transported by helicopter. The 73.7 square meter home is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced polyester and is being offered for sale through Sotheby's International Realty for approximately $1.495 million.
