United Arab Emirates faces high heat and humidity

The United Arab Emirates is experiencing a period of high heat and intense humidity. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), temperatures in internal regions are expected to reach up to 47°C, while coastal and island areas will see highs between 37°C and 42°C.

Humidity levels are reaching up to 90% in coastal and internal regions, creating conditions where perspiration does not evaporate easily. The NCM forecasts that humidity will build overnight and into the mornings, leading to a high probability of fog or mist formation in areas such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The weather pattern is expected to persist through the week, with fair to partly cloudy conditions and the potential for convective cloud formation in eastern areas during the afternoons. Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, reaching speeds of up to 30-35 km/h, while sea conditions remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
