UAE weather forecast: temperatures up to 46°C and fog warnings

The United Arab Emirates is expecting hot and humid weather through the weekend. According to the National Center of Meteorology, temperatures are forecast to reach as high as 46°C in Liwa, with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain reaching 43°C.

High humidity levels are expected, particularly in Dubai where levels could hit 90 per cent. This increase in humidity, combined with overnight conditions, brings a significant risk of fog or mist forming along coastal and some inland areas through Sunday and into Monday morning.

Wind speeds are expected to be light to moderate, shifting from southeasterly to northwesterly at speeds between 10 and 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to remain slight, while the Oman Sea may see slight to moderate waves.
