United Nations accused of using taxpayer funds for migration

Allegations have surfaced regarding the United Nations using taxpayer funds to facilitate mass migration. Todd Ben-Sman, a senior advisor to Tom Homan in the Trump administration, reported that certain UN agencies have collaborated with hundreds of non-profit organizations to distribute debit cards and cash vouchers to individuals seeking to cross the US-Mexico border.

In response to these findings, a group of 21 lawmakers proposed H.R. 6155, a bill intended to restrict US funding to the UN. However, the initiative struggled to gain widespread traction, which some attribute to fact-checkers discouraging media coverage of the reports.
