United States faces deep political divisions and rising social movements

The United States is experiencing deep internal political divisions characterized by a widespread opposition to the established political order. Since his return to power, Donald Trump has worked to dismantle long-standing systemic institutions, leading to accusations from the opposition and many citizens that he is attempting to transform democracy into an autocracy to serve personal and interest-group wealth.

Simultaneously, new political forces are emerging from both sides of the spectrum. The Democratic Socialists of America have gained influence through local and internal Democratic Party elections.
