United States leads military campaign against Iran

The United States and Israel have initiated military operations against Iran, marking a significant escalation in long-standing tensions. In recent weeks, the U.S. military conducted strikes against Iranian military bases, infrastructure, ports, and airfields. These actions were reportedly intended to punish the Revolutionary Guards, protect U.S. troops, and restore control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Notably, the United States has taken the lead in the campaign, while Israel has remained largely on the sidelines.
