Universal Epic Universe Retires Cosmos Fountain, Debuts Celestial Goodnight Spectacle

Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort, closed its original nighttime attraction, the Cosmos Fountain, after its final performance on July 6, 2026. The 15‑minute show, which combined synchronized water jets, lighting and music, had been part of Celestial Park since the park opened in May 2025.

The following night, Universal launched a larger production called Universal Celestial Goodnight. The new show expands the concept of the former fountain into a full‑scale nighttime spectacular featuring hundreds of fountains, nearly 600 lighting fixtures, millions of LEDs and fireworks, transforming Celestial Park into a stage for a much bigger entertainment experience.
