Universal Epic Universe launches Celestial Goodnight nightly spectacular
Universal's newest Orlando park, Epic Universe, debuted its first nighttime show, Celestial Goodnight, on July 7, 2026. The 10‑minute spectacle runs each evening at park close and combines synchronized fountains, more than 600 lighting fixtures, over 350 water jets and seven million LED lights with an original orchestral score and multiple fireworks bursts.
The show is staged on the lagoon in Celestial Park beneath the Helios Grand Hotel and draws visual cues from the park’s five themed lands, including Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and Dark Universe. Guests can view the performance from seating that encircles roughly three‑quarters of the lagoon, with additional standing areas, and are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot. Showtimes shift with the park’s seasonal closing hours, typically around 9 p.m. in summer.
Universal has added convenient grab‑and‑go food options near the viewing area, and the nightly show marks the first dedicated evening entertainment offering at Epic Universe since the park opened as Orlando’s first major new theme park in over 25 years.
