Universal Orlando unveils new tickets and attraction projects

Universal Orlando announced several new ticket options, including a $199 two‑park unlimited‑days pass for Florida residents and a $179 "Nights at Epic Universe" event that grants after‑hours access and complimentary snacks.

Construction on the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster in Universal Studios Florida is progressing, with the spike reaching 170 feet and a large corkscrew installed. The ride is slated to open in 2027. Demolition work continues at the Lost Continent area of Islands of Adventure, clearing the Sindbad building and preparing the site for future attractions.

Epic Universe ticket prices for 2026 have been reduced, though an annual‑pass option remains unavailable. For Halloween Horror Nights 35, Universal introduced a Fortnite‑themed "Fortnitemares" scare zone and shortened the "R.I.P. Tour" ticket. New ICE! themes featuring Harry Potter, Home Alone and The Nightmare Before Christmas were also revealed.
