Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez welcomes new students at Hola UACJ event
The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) will hold its welcome ceremony “Hola UACJ” on 31 July at the University Gym. The event, scheduled for 4 p.m., targets students beginning the August‑December 2026 semester and will be streamed live.
Rector Daniel Alberto Constandse Cortez will open the ceremony, after which university officials will present a range of services: free IndioBus transport, psychological counselling, scholarships, academic mobility programmes, social service, cultural workshops, sports activities, and language centres. Cultural groups will perform folk displays, sports demonstrations will be shown, and the program will close with an inspirational talk by master Fernando Briceño Ramos. UACJ expects to admit 8,374 new students, who will also take part in an induction semester and complete an “induction card” to integrate into campus life.
