The Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila (UAdeC) concluded its summer program “Lobos Camp 2026” with a closing ceremony at the Paraninfo del Ateneo Fuente, while simultaneous events were held in Torreón, Monclova, Múzquiz and Piedras Negras. Children aged 5‑12 presented the skills they acquired in workshops covering science, arts, music, and sports.
University officials attending the ceremony included Eva Kerena Hernández, coordinator of the Southeast Unit; Nora Mireya Ramírez Sánchez, secretary of the UAdeC Workers’ Union; and Patricia de la Rosa, camp coordinator. The university also honored long‑serving instructors: Lourdes García Reséndiz (26 years teaching music), Iván de Jesús Esquivel García (16 years teaching football), Norma Estela Jiménez Díaz (12 years leading musical expression), César Martínez Celedón (10 years in art and crafts) and Genaro Loera Hernández (20 years teaching painting). The camp ran from 20 to 31 July 2026, providing a safe environment for learning, cultural, and athletic development during the school vacation.
