Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa launches 2026 Knowledge Day

The Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) has inaugurated the 2026 University Knowledge Day, themed “Science, technology and innovation at the service of society.” The event, organized through the Northern Regional Unit (URN), aims to promote interest in science, technology, innovation, and the humanities by connecting students and researchers with the broader community.

A notable highlight of the opening included a lecture by the Hungarian Ambassador, Zoltán Németh, titled “Mexico-Hungary Relations, 100 Years of Friendship,” which explored the historical and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Additionally, the UAS Faculty of Dentistry has issued a call for participation for its specific segment of the event, scheduled from October 19 to 31. The faculty is inviting professors, researchers, and students to engage in presentations, laboratory demonstrations, and guided tours. Participants in the dentistry program will receive academic credit for validated activities.
