Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas hosts Research Day 2026

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) held the ‘Research Day UAT 2026’ at the Campus Victoria Multidisciplinary Gymnasium. Organized by the Secretariat of Research and Postgraduate Studies, the event aimed to connect youth with science and technology through interactive exhibitions, workshops, and project demonstrations.

Students from various high schools and technical institutes participated in activities addressing social and health issues, including stress detection and alcohol consumption awareness. University researchers presented projects in fields such as aquaculture, educational analysis, electronics, and regional concerns like the impact of the screwworm on livestock.

Dr. Dora María Yado Lárraga, Director of Research at UAT, noted that the initiative seeks to showcase the institution's scientific work and inspire interest in scientific careers among young people.
