Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas hosts science dissemination day in Tampico

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) held the 2026 Research Day at the Tampico Campus South facilities on September 11. The event was designed to share university research and laboratory advancements with children and young people through interactive demonstrations.

The event featured 160 researchers and 32 interactive stands offering experiments and educational dynamics. According to Dora María Lladó Lárraga, Director of Research for the UAT Secretariat of Research and Postgraduate Studies, the initiative aims to make knowledge a universal common good and encourage the youth to pursue scientific careers.
