Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas reaches historic scientific production milestone

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) has achieved a historic milestone in scientific and academic production, editing more than 80 books across various fields of knowledge this year.

Dr. Evelia Reséndiz Balderas, head of the UAT Secretariat of Research and Postgraduate Studies, reported that institutional efforts under Rector Dámaso Anaya Alvarado have strengthened publications both independently and through collaborations with various publishing houses. Currently, 81 specialized publications are available for consultation on the Libros UAT web platform.

In addition to editorial success, the university has expanded its academic journal production. UAT maintains 13 journals, including seven dedicated to research and six to dissemination. Notably, five of the research journals have been certified by the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI), enhancing the institution's national academic prestige.
