Universidad de Colima Forms Evaluation Committee for Ten Full‑Time Professor Positions

The University of Colima announced the creation of an evaluation committee to select candidates for ten full‑time professor (PTC) positions at the senior level. Forty‑two applicants registered, of which twenty‑eight submitted complete dossiers that will be reviewed.

Four interdisciplinary evaluation commissions were established covering Digital Business, Nursing, Engineering Technologies and Physiotherapy. The internal committee is led by Susana Aurelia Preciado Jiménez (Coordinator of Teaching), Priscilia Juliana Álvarez Gutiérrez (Director of Human Resources), Mario Guillermo de Anda Chávez (Director of Higher Education) and Martha Chávez González (Director of Academic Staff Development). External members include Dr. Ivette Quiñones Urióstegui of the National Rehabilitation Institute and Dr. Guadalupe Miriam Rodríguez Méndez of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. Rector Christian Torres Ortiz Zermeño highlighted the institution’s commitment to maintaining such recruitment processes.
