Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia and Argentina's Ministry of Justice launch legal diploma

The Faculty of Juridical Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco and the Argentine Ministry of Justice have agreed to implement a University Diploma in Professional Practice in the Federal Accusatory Penal System.

The program aims to strengthen the training of those working or aspiring to work within the criminal justice sector. It is directed by Minister of Justice Juan Bautista Mahiques and co-directed by Javier Leal de Ibarra. The curriculum will cover the accusatory criminal procedural system, oral litigation, investigation of complex federal crimes, and the responsible application of artificial intelligence.

The 132-hour course will be held in a hybrid format between September 2026 and March 2027. It is developed in coordination with the National Council of the Magistracy and is intended for magistrates, prosecutors, defenders, lawyers, and law students.
