Educational institutions in Latin America host career fairs and academic programs

Various educational institutions across Latin America are hosting events to promote academic opportunities and professional development.

In Argentina, the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (UNMDP) launched a Sinological Studies Program to strengthen academic ties with China. The university is also hosting an educational fair to showcase its academic offerings. In Bariloche, the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro hosted a career fair that attracted approximately 2,000 young people, featuring over 100 university and vocational proposals. Additionally, the Universidad del Chubut held its third ICT Encounter in Sarmiento to connect the academic sector with the technology industry.

In Mexico, the Universidad Tecnológica de San Juan del Río (UTSJR) reported a significant increase in enrollment, growing from 3,200 to 3,800 students over five years. Meanwhile, the Universidad Tecnológica de la Babícora (UTB) is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a regional products and services expo.

In Uruguay, the EDU Río Negro initiative has returned to connect secondary school students with tertiary and university education options in the Río Negro department.
