Università Kore to launch Medicine and Education degrees in Syracuse
Università Kore di Enna has announced the launch of two new master's degree programs in Syracuse, scheduled to begin in the 2026/2027 academic year. The new courses include Medicine and Surgery, a six-year program, and Primary Education Sciences, a five-year program.
The initiative follows a collaboration agreement between the university and the Syracuse Provincial Health Authority (ASP), implemented through a protocol with the Sicilian Region. This partnership aims to integrate academic training with clinical experience within local hospital structures, supporting the future development of a new hospital in Syracuse.
University officials, including President Cataldo Salerno and Rector Paolo Scollo, presented the plan alongside representatives from the Syracuse ASP and local municipal authorities. The expansion is intended to address the regional need for qualified medical professionals and teachers in southeastern Sicily.
