Universitat Politècnica de València to invest 8.5 million euros in Alcoi Campus

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is preparing a new expansion phase for the Alcoi Campus, with a total estimated investment of 8.5 million euros. The project focuses on recently acquired land and includes several key components.

Approximately 5 million euros will be allocated to the construction of a new 2,400-square-meter teaching building, featuring classrooms, offices, and common academic areas. Additionally, 2 million euros are designated for stabilizing the Beniata slope to reduce landslide risks through 70 linear meters of containment work, a process expected to take two and a half years.

A further 1.5 million euros will be used to transform adjacent areas into accessible green spaces and pedestrian connection routes, with completion estimated in two years. The UPV plans to select a design via a competition of ideas before beginning construction.
