Universities in Argentina and Chile forge local development agreements

The National University of Río Tercero in Argentina signed articulation agreements with ten municipalities to bring academic resources to local needs, covering tourism, production, mining and education. Rector Pablo Yannibelli said the partnership aims to provide tools and opportunities that support regional growth, improve connectivity and strengthen student ties to the community.

In Chile, the Municipality of Mostazal and the University of O’Higgins concluded a framework collaboration to conduct joint projects, professional internships, veterinary operations and applied research. Mayor Verónica Arroyo and University Rector Dr. Fernanda Kri highlighted the alliance’s role in advancing agricultural, environmental and educational objectives for the commune.
