University admission updates in Argentina and student placement measures
In Argentina, the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCUYO) has announced the entrance exam schedule for approximately 2,500 applicants seeking admission to its six secondary schools. The exams are divided into two sessions: Language on September 26 and Mathematics on October 3. Testing will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters in Mendoza and the Escuela de Agricultura in General Alvear. Results and merit lists for technical schools are expected to be published on October 21.
In another educational development, the Ministry of University Education has initiated measures to incorporate 1,297 high school graduates who failed to secure university spots through the National Admission System (SNI) despite having averages between 19 and 19.9 points. Universities have begun contacting these students to request necessary documentation to formalize their enrollment. The Ministry has urged institutions to expedite these administrative processes to ensure students do not fall behind in the current academic calendar.
