University of Aden begins medical and dentistry entrance exams

The University of Aden has commenced the second day of competitive entrance examinations for the 2026/2027 academic year. Following previous exams for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, students are currently undergoing preparatory year testing for the Faculty of Dentistry.

Approximately 1,110 students are participating in the dentistry entrance exams. The university administration, led by Acting President and Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Aqeel Al-Attas, conducted field inspections to ensure organizational discipline, transparency, and equal opportunity for all applicants.

Minister of Education, Dr. Adel Abdulmajid Al-Abadi, also attended the launch of the preparatory year exams. He praised the level of organization and encouraged students to view university life as a critical turning point for their professional futures. Due to delays in high school graduation results, the university's higher committee has extended the admission and registration period to provide more opportunities for applicants.
