University of Aden hosts scientific day to boost local pharmaceutical industry

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Aden organized its fifth scientific day under the theme ‘Building National Pharmaceutical Capacities Towards a Sustainable Local Pharmaceutical Industry.’ The event coincided with World Pharmacists Day.

Organized in partnership with the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances and the Pharmacists Syndicate in Aden, the event focused on integrating educational institutions with health and industrial sectors to enhance pharmaceutical security. Officials emphasized the importance of developing scientific research and localizing drug manufacturing to ensure a stable supply of medicines and reduce reliance on external sources during crises.
