University of Aden joins launch of Arab university ranking 2026 workshop

On June 1 2026, the University of Aden participated virtually in a workshop that marked the official start of the Arab university ranking 2026. The event gathered representatives of about 236 universities from 22 Arab states.

Delegates from Aden included deans and officials from the colleges of pharmacy, social sciences and humanities, international relations, academic development, computer and information technology, and education quality. The workshop announced a detailed follow‑up session on July 6 to discuss ranking criteria and standards, and introduced two new digital platforms – one to showcase university achievements and facilitate faculty links, and a second to support researchers and promote academic collaboration across the Arab region.
