University of Calabria launches political school project

The association ‘Ali di Vibonesità’ has partnered with the University of Calabria (Unical) to launch a three-year political school project titled ‘Noi e la politica’ (Us and Politics). The initiative is a joint venture involving Unical’s Department of Political and Social Sciences and the Higher School of Public Administration Sciences.

The project aims to engage youth in social and political life, providing them with cultural tools and leadership training. The first experimental year will involve 120 students, with the program receiving patronage from the Calabria Region, the Province, and the Municipality. Upon completion, Unical will issue certificates of participation, and top-performing students will be awarded a trip to Brussels and Strasbourg.

The program will officially commence with a conference at the University of Calabria on October 19, after which the lessons will move to the Provincial Council Chamber to reach the local community in Vibo Valentia.
