University of Colima wins three Orgullo COMEPO 2026 awards

The University of Colima (UdeC) has received awards in three of the six categories of the Orgullo COMEPO 2026 national competition. The distinctions were presented in Tijuana, Baja California, during the 39th National Postgraduate Congress held at the Autonomous University of Baja California.

Four master's graduates were recognized for their professional achievements following their studies. Fernando Alfonso Flores Ruelas received the award for Innovation, while Nancy Lizeth Corcino Rosas was honored for Early Professional Career. Lewis Joshua Hernández Isais and Armando Reyes Caballos shared the recognition in the Entrepreneurship category.

Arianna Sánchez Espinoza, UdeC's General Director of Postgraduate Studies, noted that the Mexican Council of Postgraduate Studies (COMEPO) awards focus on the impact graduates make in academic, professional, or social spheres after completing their education, rather than solely on their performance as students.
