University of Copenhagen study links mobile-free teaching to better grades
A large-scale international study conducted by the University of Copenhagen indicates that students achieve better academic results when instruction is mobile-free. The research, led by Associate Professor Andreas Bjerre-Nielsen of the Economic Institute, utilized data from approximately 17,000 students in India to document these effects.
Bjerre-Nielsen suggests that these findings are likely applicable to Danish students, noting that a separate study at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) showed similar results regarding the impact of mobile devices on learning.
