University of Nebraska–Lincoln celebrates entrepreneurship and investment programs
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business is marking the 40th anniversary of the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship. Founded in 1986, the center is recognized as one of the nation’s first dedicated entrepreneurship hubs and currently ranks No. 35 globally in undergraduate entrepreneurship programs.
To commemorate the milestone, the center is hosting a celebration during the Nebraska Business Alumni Tailgate on Nov. 21. The program provides students with access to courses, competitions, mentoring, and venture funding.
Additionally, 25 students have been selected for the seventh class of the Investors With Purpose program. This semester-long course focuses on investing and wealth management, allowing students to build professional connections through weekly sessions with industry experts and networking events.
