University of Oradea inaugurates new student dormitory and canteen

The University of Oradea has inaugurated a new student dormitory and a modern canteen on its central campus. The project, funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), was completed just before the start of the new academic year.

The new dormitory, designated C5, spans nearly 3,838 square meters across four floors. It provides 153 accommodation spots in double and triple rooms, including two rooms specifically adapted for persons with disabilities. Facilities include study areas, reading rooms, laundries, and a medical dispensary. The building features energy-efficient climate control powered by solar panels installed on the roof.
