University of Oregon football begins first full week of preseason camp

The University of Oregon football team has entered its first full week of preseason fall camp, practicing on new outdoor turf fields. The team's schedule includes designated rest days on Thursdays and Sundays leading up to the season opener.

Offensive line coach A'lique Terry highlighted the intense competition within the unit as the team works to replace departing players such as Emmanuel Pregnon, Alex Harkey, and Isaiah World. Terry noted that players are being trained in multifaceted roles to build depth and chemistry through various group and individual repetitions.

Veteran center Iapani “Poncho” Laloulu has emerged as a key leader for the group, with Terry praising his vocal presence and willingness to mentor younger players and newcomers like Immanuel Iheanacho and Tommy Tofi.
