Unrelated incidents reported in Italy

Two separate incidents have been reported in Italy involving personal hardship and a hit-and-run accident.

In Milan, a 50-year-old hospital worker, referred to by the pseudonym Alessio, shared his struggle with financial instability. After leaving physically demanding manual labor jobs due to health issues, he transitioned to a role as a mover at a hospital. He reported earning a monthly salary of 891 euros, which he stated is insufficient to cover the cost of living and rent, leading to significant personal and social hardship.

In a separate event on the A14 motorway near Campofilone, a 22-year-old worker named Andrea Lamponi was struck by a vehicle while performing night shift duties at a construction site. The driver of the dark-colored car failed to stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. Lamponi was transported to Torrette Regional Hospital for surgery and is currently recovering.
