Weather alerts issued for various regions in Chile and Argentina

The Dirección Meteorológica de Chile (DMC) has issued warnings for electrical storms, hail, and strong winds across seven regions. The instability is expected to affect the central zone, including the Metropolitan, O’Higgins, and Maule regions, with potential impacts extending to the Magallanes region in the south through October 26.

In Argentina, the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) has reported unstable conditions in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), forecasting showers and isolated rains. Meanwhile, Mendoza is under a yellow alert for snowfall in the mountain areas and the south, as well as alerts for storms in the southern part of the province.

Other regional reports indicate varying conditions, including high temperatures in northern Chile and fluctuating temperatures with rain in parts of Argentina and the Dominican Republic.
