Unter uns actors launch bus tour to save soap opera
Actors from the long-running German soap opera ‘Unter uns’ have launched a campaign to save the series from cancellation. A red bus decorated with the hashtag ‘#NichtOhneUnterUns’ traveled through Cologne, stopping at prominent locations including the Cologne Cathedral to raise awareness.
Longtime stars Miloš Vuković and Tabea Heynig participated in the tour, which was organized in collaboration with fans. Series producer Guido Reinhardt stated that the campaign aims to make fan engagement visible and demonstrate solidarity for the show’s future.
Broadcaster RTL previously announced it does not intend to continue the series beyond the end of the year, citing changed economic conditions for daily fictional programming. While the show has aired on RTL since 1994, production company Ufa Serial Drama is currently exploring options to continue the stories.
