UNTOLD 2026 Festival in Cluj-Napoca Showcases Diverse Lineup and Folk Ensemble Debut

The UNTOLD music festival will take place in Cluj‑Napoca, Romania, from 6 to 9 August 2026, featuring around 200 artists spread across multiple stages. While the Mainstage hosts international headliners such as Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Martin Garrix, Kygo, Zara Larsson and Flo Rida, side stages like Daydreaming and Alchemy highlight genre‑specific acts. German techno‑live performer Jan Blomqvist and French melodic‑techno act NTO Live (Anthony Favier) are among the recommended non‑mainstage appearances.

A historic moment for Romanian folk music occurred on 8 August when the professional folk ensemble Cindrelul‑Junii Sibiului, along with Ceata Junilor and singers Ionuţ Fulea and Mariana Anghel, performed on the Mainstage. Their set presented Transylvanian songs and dances choreographed by Silvia Macrea, with orchestration by Cristian Obrejan and others. The organizers anticipate up to 500,000 attendees from around the world.
