Overview

The UNTOLD festival in Cluj‑Napoca will take place 6‑9 August 2026, featuring more than 200 artists across the Mainstage, Galaxy, Alchemy, Daydreaming and other venues. Headliners include Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson, The Chainsmokers, Flo Rida, Kygo, Martin Garrix and Carl Cox, with additional acts such as Alan Walker, Solomun, Tujamo, BBNO$ and Padre Guilherme. The event will debut a record‑breaking Mainstage (38 m tall, 127 m wide) equipped with 1,250 m² of LED screens, over 1,070 smart lights and a secondary “C Stage” with an LED floor that extends productions into the audience.

Side stages will showcase genre‑specific performances; German techno artist Jan Blomqvist and French melodic‑techno act NTO Live are among the highlighted non‑mainstage acts. On 8 August, the Romanian folk ensemble Cindrelul‑Junii Sibiului performed together with Ceata Junilor, singers Ionuţ Fulea and Mariana Anghel, presenting Transylvanian songs and dances choreographed by Silvia Macrea and orchestrated by Cristian Obrejan, marking a historic moment for local folk music on the Mainstage.

Local talent remains a focus, with veteran DJ Eugen Stăncioiu returning to the Retro Fantasia Stage and Arad‑born DJs Mike Kross and Sebuh mixing on the Time Stage. Romanian pop group Animal X will reunite on the Mainstage, performing classic hits for tens of thousands. Organisers expect over 500,000 visitors and will launch UNTOLD Radio, an online service broadcasting music year‑round.
