UPSC announces 828 Principal and Vice-Principal vacancies in Delhi

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced vacancies for 828 positions for Principal and Vice-Principal roles within the Delhi Government's Education Department. The recruitment drive includes 124 Principal posts and 704 Vice-Principal posts.

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience requirements. For the Principal position, applicants require a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), a Master's degree, and ten years of teaching experience in a recognized high school or intermediate college. Vice-Principal applicants require a B.Ed, a Master's degree, and either two years of experience as a Post Graduate Teacher or three years as a Trained Graduate Teacher.

The selection process will involve a pen-and-paper based Combined Recruitment Test (CRT), followed by shortlisting and interviews. The deadline for online applications is August 14. Age limits are set at 50 years for Principals and 35 years for Vice-Principals, with age relaxations provided for reserved categories.
