UPSSSC announces selection of 50 Junior Assistants

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the final selection results for the post of Junior Assistant within the Industrial Development Department. Based on the results of the main examination, 50 candidates have been selected.

The recruitment process was adjusted after the initial requirement of 62 posts was revised to 54. The final selection of 50 candidates includes 34 from the unreserved category, 3 from Scheduled Castes, 1 from Scheduled Tribes, 7 from Other Backward Classes, and 5 from the Economically Weaker Sections.

The commission also released category-wise cut-off marks. The cut-off for the unreserved category was 65, while Scheduled Castes stood at 26.75, Scheduled Tribes at 50, OBC at 62.50, and EWS at 63.75. Horizontal reservations for women and persons with disabilities were also implemented according to established regulations.
