Overview

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued several updates regarding state Group C recruitment and examination schedules.

In early August 2026, the commission released its 2026 examination calendar, which includes the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) scheduled for October 2026. A new recruitment notification was also issued for 1,251 Livestock Extension Officer positions, with applications opening September 9, 2026.

In late August, the commission announced the final selection results for 50 Junior Assistant positions within the Industrial Development Department. This followed a revision of the initial requirement from 62 posts to 54. The commission released category-wise cut-off marks, noting a cut-off of 65 for the unreserved category and 26.75 for Scheduled Castes.

On September 5, 2026, the commission announced a recruitment drive for 12 computer-related positions within the Advocate General Office, consisting of 11 Computer Operator Grade A posts and one Assistant Computer Operator post. Eligible candidates must hold a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard. The online application window is scheduled to run from September 7, 2026, to September 28, 2026.
